Nylon suture is a monofilament surgical suture synthesized by polyamide 6 and/or polyamide 6.6. It is a non-absorbable suture known for its high strength, excellent biocompatibility, and low tissue reaction. As a single strand (monofilament), it minimizes the risk of bacterial harboring and prevents capillarity.
The suture needles are produced using precision drilling technology, ensuring a smooth integration of needle and thread. This allows for seamless penetration with minimal tissue trauma, making it ideal for ophthalmic surgery, orthopedics, and skin closure.

Nylon sutures are indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and ligation. Common applications include:
Note: Nylon sutures should not be used where permanent retention of tensile strength is required for internal organs, such as in certain cardiac or central nervous system procedures.
